Clonmel Junction Festival Choir 2014
As part of a teamwork module, we were tasked with working with a Client and make a Promotional Video advertising the Clonmel Junction Festival choir. It was used on the Junction Festival website to promote the festival.
As part of a team of 6 members, we each took on certain roles of the project. I took on audio as I have a background with music and I have knowledge in audio technology, and I was the lead editor for the promo as it's were my interest is.
It was great working as part of this team, as we each brought strengths to the table and it was a first for me where I wasn’t the leader of the group and found myself well able to work within a team as well as lead a team.
We would meet the client every two weeks and discuss what was required for the promo and also when we could go in and film, and then was given a deadline. The filming of the promo could only happen near the end of the project, so from early on we knew we would be under pressure for post production. We had two weeks after production to wrap up all post production.
I got the edit done in about 5 hours, brought it to the team, they gave suggestions, I went back and finalised the edit so I could pass the edit off to the team for colour correction and after effects. I got the footage back to put the audio on and it was completed on time.
The client was extremely happy with the product and was delighted to display our work on their website.
